Groove Coaster (not to be confused with the original mobile game of the same name and known in some regions as Rhythmvaders) is a rhythm game developed by Matrix Software and released by Taito for arcades (using their PC-based Taito Type X Zero hardware) in Japan on November 5, 2013, with an overseas release sometime later.

An arcade adaptation of the 2011 mobile game of the same name, Groove Coaster utilizes two custom controllers known as "Boosters", eschewing the touch-based system of the original. Each Booster has a large button on the top (for tapping, now called "Hit") and can be tilted like a joystick (for flicking, now called "Slide"). The game features a wide variety of J-Pop and synthpop arrangements from numerous composers, including licensed, vocaloid, and crossover tracks. Some notable crossover tracks in later updates include the Touhou Project and Undertale.

Along with a revamped user interface and updated scoring, this version features multi-cabinet multiplayer support (for up to four players at a time), IC card support (for tracking progress and unlocking new content), new Items (allowing for new challenges), and special events.

The game received yearly updates since its original release, adding new songs while updating numerous aspects of the game (including the addition of an in-game currency called "Groove Coins" and "navigators" that guide the player through the menus).

The "Link Fever" version of the game was later used as the base for the game's PC port on July 16, 2018, published digitally as Groove Coaster (also known as Groove Coaster for Steam). This version supports both keyboard and game controllers as input devices, multiple screen resolution options, new game modes, and post-release DLC songs. The game was also ported to the Nintendo Switch in 2019 as Groove Coaster: Wai Wai Party!!!!.
